Student Council Minutes January 8th
New business
C.O.W. a discussion was had on bringing back Celebration of Writing back. Many 5th graders shared what it was like. Andrew Hamilton motioned to have C.O.W. Night and Isabel Roberts seconded the motion. The Student Council Unanimously voted to have C.O.W. Night. Miss Alford will get us a date and invitations out for the students and staff with a list of project ideas.
Old business
Winterfest- two dates- We will have one for 2nd and 3rd graders on February 19th and one for 4th and 5th graders on February 20th. We need LOTS of parent volunteers- Rest of the meeting was planning our the fames we want to use and music we need for the event.
Popcorn committee made a commercial and came up with an idea to boost sales of popcorn by having a drawing for a coupon at The nest that gives the winner $1 off.
